DNT (Dry Needling Therapy)
Dry Needling Therapy is a treatment modality in which fine needles are inserted into the muscle. These needles are directed at myofascial trigger points (often referred to as ‘knots’) which are hyperirritable spots in skeletal muscle that can be associated with discomfort and or pain.
The benefits of dry needling therapy may include pain relief, reduced muscle tension, improved joint range of motion, increased blood flow, and an improved local immune/ healing response.
Cupping
Cupping is an ancient healing therapy in which small suction cups are placed over various areas of the body. These cups create a vacuum force which pull the skin and muscle tissues upward. This force increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This in turn may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.
NET (Neuro Emotional Technique)
Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a holistic mind-body approach to help stress related conditions. It is based on the concept that unresolved emotional trauma is stored in the body.
NET uses a process known as manual muscle testing to identify ‘negative emotional complexes’ that are being stored in the body, and helps release or resolve them. Clearing stress and trauma blockages may allow you to make decisions without attachment to previous negative emotional experiences, and rebuild positive response patterns.
